Different kinds of hydroponic system are used for growing plants.
There are three types of hydroponics systems in general,
- EBB and Flow
- Drip Systems
- Aeroponics
Ebb and flow are when there is a large container. That holds enough nutrient solution that gravity allows it to drain back into a reservoir at regular intervals. The drip system has many drippers coming from one larger container. Up top where you place your plants.
With aeroponics, you grow plants by suspending them. In the air with their roots exposed to dripping water. In all cases, take care not to over-water your plants. Or they can become diseased or rot from too much moisture around their roots.
